Volunteer assistant men’s soccer coach Jose Solano begins his second season as an AC assistent coach, having graduated from Jacksonville High School (Texas) in 2021. As a player, he helped the Indians reach the post-season and a regional semifinal appearance after the program suffered a six-year playoff drought. Solano was a three-time 1^st Team All-District selection, and he graduated high school with a 3.5 GPA.

Solano attended Jacksonville College before transferring to Angelina College, where he will continue his course work toward his associate’s degree.
